I thought of you today
And it brought on a smile
For it is friends like you
That make my life worthwhile

I thought of you today
And remembered you in prayer
I asked the Lord to bless you
And keep you in His care

I thought of you today
Like so many times before
It seems each time I think of you
I love you even more

I thought of you you today
And how much you mean to me
God made you very special
Just like a friend should be

I thought of you today
Like I do now and then
If God gives me tomorrow
I'll think of you again
