When you woke up this morning
To start your day anew
Did you pause to realize
Who gave this day to you

When you saw the beautiful sunrise
Sparkling on the dew
Did you pause to realize
Who provided that for you

When you see the beautiful sunset at dusk
With so many a beautiful hues sent your way
Do you stop long enough to tell the Lord
Thank you for giving me this day
