Not Alone

Sometimes when I am all alone
Not really alone for He is always there
I think of how much He means to me
And how glad I am to be in His care

I contemplate how life would be
If I did not know He is there for me
So bleak and dreary and all alone
Peace of mind would not be known

No place to run. No place to hide
No matter how hard I tried
Thank God that it is not that way
For I know He is with me come what may

He is still sitting on His throne
And he still claims me as His own
He hears my each and every prayer
I am never alone  He is always there
