Precious Memories of Mother
Today I heard my mother sing
As she clutched to her breast
I want to thank you for the memories Lord
That I've been so richly blessed
That happened so many years ago
But sometimes in my reverie
I still feel her arms around me
Just like they used to be
Sometimes when I'm almost asleep
I can feel her presence there
Standing right next to Jesus
And I know I'm in their care
My mother was so special
With love so pure and true
Sometimes I can still feel her hugs
Just like I used to do
My mother is up in heaven now
But still sometimes you see
I can feel her love and know that she
Is still watching over me.
