What is a Friend?

A friend is a friend in thought and deed
A friend is there when you have a need
A friend  is a treasure to have and to hold
You get friends with love and not with gold
 

A friend  is a haven to that you can turn to
When trouble and strife  would overcome you
A friend will remember you in their every prayer
A friend lets you know that they really care

A friend knows when to talk and when to keep quiet
Just being there for you helps to know things are right
A friend gives advice only when it is asked for
Whatever your needs are a friend will give more
 

A friend holds a treasured place in your heart
That you always have with you even tho you're apart
A friend's love stays with you right up to the end
Please know that I am proud to call you MY FRIEND!!!
